Neoteric Teddy Bear artist Andrea Adair believes she has finally found her niche. A medium she can pool all her creativity. Andrea attributes her creative talents to her family. "My great grandmother hand sewed quilts, my grandfather was a very talented carpenter and cabinet maker. I have an Uncle who has followed suit. I have a cousin who is a very talented screenwriter in Hollywood and another cousin who is an acclaimed doll artist/designer who creates dolls and even tats their attire. My father and Mother have had the greatest impact. My father is what one might consider a Renaissance man. He paints and draws, has taught himself to play the river-reed flute, the recorder and even the Native American flute! My mother, she is quite the seamstress. She makes clothes for my bears from patterns I create from my mind's eye and her own line of dolls. My being an artist in any medium just seems inevitable and is my opportunity to pay tribute to those who have contributed to my talents and those who have been my support and encouragement. To you all I say thank you and bear hugs!
